Another beautiful scene of the woolly grass in the wind

Tropical Wild Plant - Piper Arbraecens (Wild Pepper)

Pepper family climbing epiphyte found in Kuching Stutong Forest Park. The leaves are lanceolate and flowers pinkish with small rounded berries. This plant can be used for rheumatic pain and skin irritations caused by poisonous hairs of nettle caterpillar.

Catharanthus Roseus, Apocynaceae ( Madagascar Periwinkle)

A few varieties are found in my garden. This picture is white with pink colour in the middle and another is completely dark pink. One is whole white and the other light pink. Wonder how these colours were evolved or manipulated by humans!

Calamus Rotan, Palmae (Rattan)

Tropical Secondary forest with Rattan is difficult to penetrate. You have to be careful not to be wounded by the thorns of the young green Rattan. It may take 1-2 weeks to recover. It is tough to cut as it hanged across or vertically. Older Rattan are easier to cut but make sure your sword is sharp.

Citrus Grandis (Pomelo)

The Pomelo fruits in my Garden are slightly bitter, but are still nice to eat.
