Dead Tree and the birds

Even though the tree is dead, it still attracts birds to berth on the branches, resting and cleaning. These two birds look like jungle flycatcher with its strong, short beak and short tail.

The White Egret

Working alone, it hunts the fish at the side of this small pond in the Lake garden.

Sibu Lake Garden

This garden with large lake is constructed over a former peat swamp and creates a habitat suitable for birds. There are plenty of vegetation and birds in the garden. It is a place worthwhile to visit for all naturalists. It is located about 20km from the Sibu town on the way to Bintulu.

Black Javan Myna

This bird is slightly different from the Common Myna, there is no yellow facial patch. This bird is very noisy and hangs around on the city air-con units, often in flock.

Large Ants in my farm

These ants are so far the largest encountered in my farm. The head and mid segment are black while the tail segment is brown. They came out from a hole among the roots in the ground after being disturbed.

While ants have three segments of bodies, these insects have only two segments. In addition, there are also white nymphs around, which are characteristics of the termites.

Finally, the planet was dissected, the aliens staying inside revealed. What a complicated structure and infrastructure inside !
The residents are very small termites. The body of this insect is brownish and striped. Its head is black in colour.
