Snow white periwinkle Flowers

These flowers are slightly different from previous posted periwinkle flowers, there are two central rings, the outer one is red and the inner ring is yellow. The previous posting has only yellow central ring.

Ruella Humilis

These wild petunia-like light purple flowers are opening up every day recently. The flowers are not that beautiful but prominent when there are no flower nearby.

Portulaca grandiflora  (Noon flowers)

The flowers only open up after noon, the hotter the better! This is very different from most plants, open up in the morning. This plant can be grown as ground cover, quite like by a lot of people because of multi-colour flowers. The flowers of this variety are mainly red.

The Mother Cat and the Kittens

This pregnant cat was attacked by the dog and she took refuge at my Sister's house garden. Soon, she gave birth to two kittens, one white and one light brown. My sister fed the mother cat milk and food. The two kittens are now crawling around healthily but still sucking milk from the mother.

Three-coloured Plant- the pink colour

Being young, is always beautiful and lovely.
But in less than a week, it will turn into white.
Finally, it will change to green.

Pteridophyta (Fern)

Ferns grow well in abandoned fields like this one next to my house. Plenty of them also thrive well in and near my farm.
There are 12,000 species in this world and the fossils dated  back to 360 millions year.
Unlike ordinary plants, thiese vascular plants do not produce flowers or seeds. They spread by releasing spores.
In Sarawak, people like to harvest the young rolling-up fern tips and cook as vegetables. The locals call the plants Bidin. This plant is not only nice to eat but also healthy to eat as it is not sprayed with pesticide.

Pumelo

Another four pumelo fruits are almost ready to be plucked. This fruit tree in my garden has produced at least a hundred fruits and mostly eaten by me!
