Building Ant Nest

They mobilise huge population throughout the designated leaves, gum together and even bend the leaves. How do they stick together the leaves and where do they get the gum? Who is the chief architect/commander and how do they communicate so many ants to do the work?
There is one Ant with particular big lower abdomen, is he the chief commander?

Ganoderma lucidium Mushrooms

Plenty of these glossy exterior and woody texture mushrooms spring out of the fallen branches in my farm. It appears at different areas, different varieties of mushrooms come out on the rotten wood. This particular variety is used as traditional Chinese medicine for longevity and cancer treatment. But are they really that effective?

My Ugly Dog

Haven't seen you for a while, Are you okay?
Well, you seem to be alright, healthy and happy.
The Maid must have taken good care of You! Good Boy!

Dog and Cat Guarding the House

This little house next to my family's land belongs to a Native family. The family includes a Dog and a Cat, all staying together.

Certainly, it is interesting to see how the traditional enemies can live harmoniously under the same roof and help guarding the house!

We Win, You lose. You become my food!

Even though you are big and powerful, but we have the numbers.
We win and we are going to carry you back to our nest to become our food.
This was the result of the battle between the Soldier Termite and the black Ants.
There is nothing so call RIGHT and WRONG. It is only SURVIVAL. Such is Nature.

Brown Butterfly

Despite the wings are damaged, life still has to go on. This butterfly probably has gone through harsh conditions for its short life. Was the damage due to storms or attack by other insects/birds?

Colourful Sunset

In the morning, it was storm and heavy rain. By evening, the sunset was awesome. What a contrasting day in my farm!
