Tabernaemontana Flowers

Most Chinese people do not like white flowers because of their beliefs, white represents grief. I have no such belief, in fact I like white flowers. The two plants outside my house has grown so big and now is the flowering season, the number of flowers are amazing. 
Last year, the plants also flowered like that, the Priest of the Church not far from my house was so fascinated that he asked his gardener to get from me some cuttings so that he could plant at his Church.

Large Hibiscus Rosa sinensis

This hibiscus plant I planted a few years ago outside my house roadside, is now flowering well. 
When there are many flowers coming out, the plant really looks nice.

Dead Unique Butterfly

Don't know who stepped on this butterfly.
When I picked up, the lower body is gone, stuck to the floor. But the wings were intact and unique, brown colour and had one near vertical thick line on each wing.
When I dropped the butterfly on a bench, my fingers are littered with brown powder.
When I came back half an hour later, the dead butterfly disappeared. The ants had carried away the body to their nest.

Sea Shells

Nowadays, it is difficult to find any big and beautiful sea shell near the sea beach. Too many visitors, each one just picks a few, that is the end of shell story.

In the past , it was so easy. The beaches were full of sea shells and had few visitors. These were what I picked during young time.

Mint Flower

It seems to be growing well in the Farm and the leaves are especially green and abundant. The smell of the leaves is nice too.
But why were the insects not eating up?

Vine Which Has "Ball Joint"

You would not expect plants to have ball joint, only animals have that privilege on their bones. But this vine seems to have one! How did it come about?
Perhaps it is the self repairing mechanism. When the branch broke but not detached, the sap came out and covered the damaged part and eventually hardened and formed bulb, while the damaged tissue repaired itself and the branch continued to live and grow.

One Morning on Borneo Island

I was on the way to Sarikei farm from Kuching in the early morning, I took these pictures after passing the Serian Town. The light was still dim mainly because of the mist covering the land.
At another location, I saw this thick cloud together with the mist covered almost all the green mountain, very magnificent and majestic scene.
