Happy to look at this plant every morning. Young leaves are whitish pink and give you good feeling. Even insects are seduced by the leaves' colours and shapes. It should not be trimmed or cut, or else it will loose its charm as what I saw in Malacca.
Regular trimming results the following image which I think is not outstanding.
