Calliandra surinamensis

This plant is commonly planted in the old Parks and schools. I fondly remember there was one plant in my secondary school, Sarikei High School, near the wooden library. 
It is pinkish white and majestically beautiful. But I could not link up this plant with red calliandra haematocephala except the hairy structures.
