Kuching is divided into City North and City South, a result of the political settlement. City North is headed by a Malay mayor while City South is headed by a Chinese Mayor.
This building is the the Southern City Hall building.
Northern City Hall Building is located over the other side of the Sarawak River, which had undergone huge development. It is practically a new City in the old Malay Villages.
I like the beautiful Park more than the extravagant building. Occasionally, I came here for walking exercise. It is a bit far from my house, about 9km.
