I used to wonder what are these beautiful creatures for other than flying around. Then I found out that they preyed on mosquitoes, flies and small insects.
Phew, good for tropical countries, especially as there are so many Aedes mosquitoes around.
These maroon and brown dragonflies are just eye catching!
