It grew slowly (about four months) from the mainly greenish leaves with reddish spots to totally reddish leaves with green boundaries in the shade. I still could not figure out how this evergreen perennial plant can turn into reddish colour as it matures. What types of chemicals it need to do that, iron, just like our blood?
