Common Three Ring Butterfly (Ypthima pandocus corticaria)

In fact the five ring butterfly is more common in nature than the three ring butterfly. Sometimes, four or six ring butterfly can also be seen in/near the park or forest.

This butterfly has almost three equal size occelli on the wings, while those having five or six ocelli have one large eye-spot and the rest are of very much smaller occelli.
