Kuching (2)

The river front shop-houses are the oldest part of the city. it was built at about 1950s, about sixty-five years old. Before, the shophouses were mainly made of timber and presumed that they were burnt down or bombed during the World War 2. Kuching town existed even before Rajah James Brooke arrived in 1838.
These areas are so old that I hardly do shopping there.
