Young Pineapple

When it is young, the skin is beautiful with many colours, reddish being the theme. Violet flowers are also seen at the upper part of the fruit.
When it is older, the red colour will disappear, so do the flowers. First, it will be green, then yellow and finally orange when ripe. It is ready to be eaten.
The crown can be used to propagate the plant although suckers and tills are commonly use to plant commercially. In fact, I cut the crown into few pieces and planted, surprisingly, they all grew.
