We were fascinated by these small creatures wriggling around the stagnant water when we were young. Our elders told us these were frog babies. But we could not imagine how these little fish could change into four legs land animals.
Today, we realise how sea animals evolved into land animals by the similar metamorphosis, except that evolution took millions of years but tadpoles only need a week to several months to change into frogs, a natural wonder!
