True Bug- Leaf Footed Bug (Acanthocephala)

The head of this insect is triangular with the sensors, eyes, antennae, etc, all jam at the triangular end. Eyes are so small compared to flies or bees. Therefore, do not expect the bug to see far.
Wings are not distinct and appear hard. In fact, the front pair of wings are thick and leathery while the hind pair are membranous. These wings are held over the abdomen when at rest.

The true bugs were not often seen in my farm. May be I did not look at the leaves closely which they often camouflaged or hid beneath.
