I just finished reading the book "The Natural History of Butterflies" by John Feltwell published by Croom Helm London.
This fragile beautiful species had survived through 65 million years, while human only evolved less than 7 million years!
Although the book centres around the UK and European butterflies, the book is very informative and many data are applicable to tropical butterflies. A big area of Europe has only 362 species of butterflies, while a small country like Malaysia has 1200 species. Tropical climate really generates diversity!
