This bird is naturally shy, but it allowed me to take the photographs and video 15m away at the Sibu Lake Garden. Initially, it just walked around the short grassland looking for food in caution, but after ten minutes, it flew off into the dense vegetation.
The colour is quite dull with the back brown while the underside is light brown.
