China has a very famous long painting on mountain landscape called "Dwelling in the mountain", painted by Hwang Kung-wan, during the Yuan Dynasty, about AD1350.
I have a long photograph on the mountain landscape near Lachau of Sri Aman, Sarawak on the Borneo Island! I always like the mist hanging around the mountains, seems heavenly.
