Quite often, I found the mosquito resting on this flower. What was the mosquito doing, sucking the juice or just resting ?
In fact both male and female mosquitoes feed on nectar and plant sugary juice. Because we were often victimised by the mosquito bites and diseases, we thought that they fed only on our blood. Mosquitoes prefer 0-type blood, but I am A positive, mosquitoes still come all over me!
