The Moon

The moon had been part of our life since we were born. Our elders told us many legendary stories about the moon. For example, Chang-e goddess and her jade rabbit lived on the moon, we must not point finger at the moon, otherwise our ears would have a little cut. I had read the story of the Chang-e and why she went up the moon. It was well documented since thousand of years ago. Humans were highly imaginative and often came out with beautiful stories. They are still doing so.
The Chinese have Lantern festival every year on the 15th of the Eight month of Chinese calender, which has the biggest Moon of the year.
Today, we saw China sending the Rocket Chang-e up to the moon and the jade rabbit robotic vehicle roving the moon surface.
When myself watched the moon surface through the telescope, it was awesome feeling. I realised how Galileo felt when he first time using the telescope to look into the sky.
It was not easy to look at the terrestrial objects, they moved so fast in the sky. Furthermore, many mosquitoes hovered around, diverting my attention.
The moon is not white/cream, round and smooth as you would see far away. It is full of craters, impacted by meteorites for billions of years.
