This is one of the fruits I like since young, the rough skin longan. Just open up the medium thick skin, you will see the transparent flesh about 3-5mm thick, this will be the sweetest stuff you will ever experience! But do not eat too much, the sugar content is too high.
The longan from Sarikei is different from the light brown skin longan from other places, which has thick white flesh and thin smooth skin.
I had planted both types of fruit trees in my farm.
